Banzai X ProPowerwave 4 Batten The 2019 Banzai X Pro is virtually the same sail as the Banzai Pro, except for it’s window material being X-Ply lm with spectra yarn reinforcements for maximum durability. Otherwise this sail is holding tight to the same concept of a maximum modern, explosive power, technical performance wave sail.Introducing scrim lm material luff panels in 2019 for more depth and ex in the sails, and tremendous tunability, from light downhaul load and a exy feel to high downhaul tension, ner foil, open head feel with Goya’s coveted loose leech.Special size notes for Banzai include the beautiful new smaller sizes 3.15 to 4.2, which have become shorter generally, deeper, more stable and more exible hot rod sails, quiet and comfortable even if you want to sail super strong winds, hold a line, and just enjoy.The boom on the 4.7 is a touch shorter and this size now really exemplies the Goya Mix & Match rigging range mast concept. We don’t aim to make the sail feel as same as possible rigged on 370 or 400, but rather we desire the 370 to offer the full ex feel, and the 400 to give the best of that open head locked in feeling.
